I receive messages in the twilight hours that are both informative, instructive and reminders of what I AM, the direction I am to take or work to produce. Today is no exception!

My Great Grandmother Nana Nelson, the family matriarchy, passed of old age at 100. Her strong presence appeared to me. Standing in an empowered stature it was reiterated that I come from a lineage of very strong women. This is a reminder to prepare me for this tumultuous birthing into a new world. I have everything within me to navigate these times.

Then appeared my Grandmother Nana Betty. She is nearing 100 years in age and is happily living with family. The words “friendship” swirled around my head. Then she rose from her 5-foot stature and loomed 10 feet over me as she looked outwardly. “Let me tell you about friends” she said as her gaze seemed to pan over eons of time. I learned that ‘bonded friendships are eternal.’

It is essential to nurture friendships as they are family. This is especially true for women without children. As we move into greater vulnerability as we age, we are to draw upon these holy friendships. We are not alone when we are in bonded friendships. My two soul sisters of air and earth are integral to my life. I am grateful for our journey together in this life and evermore. Thank you, beautiful souls, for sharing life’s journey with me! Together we are stronger!
